All Rumors that Peter Okoye’s Family Not In Support Of Marriage To Lola Omotayo
Story by Joy Akosa/Nigeriafilms.com
Click for Full Image Size Peter Okoye and his baby mama Lola Omotayo wedded on November 11, 2013. Elder brother Jude Okoye was suspiciously missing from the event
People should leave this couples alone, they ought to be on their honeymoon by now, I wonder why they shouldn't have peace, the marriage is not even up to a week old yet and scandals everywhere, we all know Jude Okoye was Not In Ghana, He Was In Lagos Throughout The Wedding, Lola, gave birth to her first baby, there was no noise about any DNA, she gave birth to the 2nd one, there was no noise about any DNA, now he has decided to marry the mother of his lovely kids, and the only things some persons could do is to bring out false rumors.

According to NET: On Sunday, November 17, 2013, Lagos stood still for Psquare‘s Peter Okoye and fiancĂ©e Lola Omotayo as the couple held their traditional wedding ceremony, surprisingly elder brother Jude Okoye was missing.

Social network has been buzzing. The twins’ publicist Bayo Adetu tells NET Jude was missing at the wedding because he was stuck in Ghana. Psquare had performed in Accra, Ghana at the ‘Glo and Bounce Slide‘ tour the night before. Adetu says Jude missed his flight and couldn’t get back to Lagos in time for the nuptials.

But a source who was part of another artiste’s entourage to Ghana for the concert says Jude Okoye did NOT travel to Ghana. ‘We didn’t see him, the twins were here with their band but we didn’t see Jude‘, our source who’d rather stay anonymous tells NET.

There are few instances pointing to the fact that Jude did not travel with his Pop star twin brothers to Ghana for the concert: Jude, a regular user of photo sharing Instagram never fails to post photos of their trip outside Nigeria – there were no photos of him aboard the airplane heading to GH, photos of the twins performing at the concert.

One source asks: ‘If he was truly stuck in Ghana, wouldn’t he have even lamented on Twitter like D’banj?‘.

Instead Jude posted a photo of himself and Wizkid in the studio. The picture is believed to have been taken a night before at the Mavin Records studio where he had been working with Don Jazzy, Dr SID, Phyno and others.

Inside sources in the Okoye family tell NET that Jude Okoye and a few other family members did not support their brother’s marriage to his baby mama Lola Omotayo. Some sources also also claim their late mother never supported the relationship too.

‘Jude and some others don’t like her. They never gave their blessing for the marriage. Paul too, but he is his twin. Other family members who were there were reluctant to attend. Jude didn’t go because he never supported the idea from day one‘, a family source tells us.

Some of the Okoye family members have even gone as far as insinuating that Lola Omotayo has allegedly constantly cheated on Peter Okoye. NET gathered there have been demands for a DNA test to really ascertain whether his children Cameron and Aliona are truly his. ‘It’s that serious, they claim Lola sleeps around with her so called ‘uncles’, they want a DNA test done, they just want to protect their brother‘.

WE could not independently confirm these allegations, and Adetu insists there are no issues, that Jude was only MIA because he was stuck in Ghana. One of the couple’s friends also told us all these are ‘wicked rumours’. ‘Wicked, false rumours. Nothing can be more false and distasteful. They should leave them alone and let them have peace…’

Lola currently lives in a mansion in Park View estate, Ikoyi. The Okoyes are currently building their new home somewhere not to far from there. It is uncertain where the couple will make their home.

Jude Okoye has been working with Psquare, his younger brothers since they released their first album ‘Last Nite‘ under Timbuk2 Music label back in 2003.

But wait a minute, why is this happening now?

Why didn't it happen before the marriage took place, from what I saw at the wedding, everyone was happy and even his twin brother was totally happy all through.

Why can’t people just allow the newly married couple to rest. Whether they love Lola or not, all that matters is that Peter Okoye has made his decision. One thing that is confusing here is why would they accuse lola of infidelity, she is from a wealthy family so what would make a man lure her to behave weird, she is fertile and happy with her love so let people let this lady enjoy marriage life as a human being and not because she is married to a celebrity. The wedding has been done, no matter what publicity stunt released now doesn't change a thing.

Why I Married Peter Okoye Despite The Fact He Is My Junior – Lola Omotayo

Peter Okoye of P’Square and Lola Omotayo’s love story is compelling and amazing. The couple have been in a relationship for over eight years before they finally tied the knot on Sunday, November 17, 2013.
peter-and-lola-3Peter and Lola 3 Why I Married Peter Okoye Despite The Fact He Is My Junior – Lola Omotayo
There has been a lot of talk and whispers about their marriage, the family issues and the fact that Lola is by far older than Peter Okoye has been trending. But why did she decide to marry someone who’s her junior?
Below is Lola Omotayo’s stand on their age difference… Lola, who was a Business Development Director at FKG2m a marketing agency in Lagos, had told the story of how she and Peter met and how the relationship started:www.michealhills.blogspot.com
“My agency handles some of British American Tobacco brands and P’Square was doing a show for us at one of our events in Enugu. Though I had met Peter a couple of times before then, at the show there was some chemistry.
He asked for my number and I refused giving it to him. I told him ‘if you really want to know me, you have to find my number’. So he took it as a task and found my number and the rest is history.” Lola, said to be in her 30s then and Peter in his 20s, was not disturbed by the age difference. Her reason:
“Like I said, Peter is an old soul and he always tells me that I’m like a 23-year-old. Age is just a number. Right now, you can see it around the world. Demi Moore, Usher and some known people. Even in Nigeria here, they are dating people far older than their age. So, we shouldn’t base it on the age factor. He doesn’t make me feel like he’s younger than me.”

Genevieve Nnaji & Omotola Jalade Still In Supremacy Battle?

The battle of supremacy between top actresses Genevieve Nnaji and Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde dragged for many years, before they played alongside each other in the award winning movie, Ije, a development that made people to conclude that both parties have let the sleeping dog lie. It was believed that the two movie stars have become friends when the National President of Actors’ Guild of Nigeria (AGN)
, Ibinabo Fiberesima stepped into all the grievances between top actresses shortly after her inauguration.

However, investigations showing that the beautiful Nollywood actresses are still not friends. Recall that Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde was named Most Influential Nigerian by Time Magazine early this year. As it could be, Actors’ Guild of Nigeria (AGN), the guild where the actress has remained loyal to for many years decided to celebrate and honor her.

Guess what? Genevieve Nnaji was not only absent from the event but also close friends disclosed that she was angry for the accolades showered on Omotola. Sources say the Imo born screen diva is still angry with the organisers of the event till today.

Again, the talented actress, Ms. Genevieve was among the lucky Nollywood practitioners who were honored on Wednesday November 27, 2013 at Grand Awards of Nollywood @20, a situation that has been questioned by many people from Omotola’s camp. According to them, Genevieve is not supposed to be honored for her contributions in movie industry without Omotola’s name appearing on the same list. “Omotola’s name was omitted.” They say.

Simply because Omotola’s name was not in the list and she was nowhere near the venue of this grand event, as an invitation must have been sent to her weeks before yesterday. Yours truly is noticing that a strong supremacy battle is still brewing between the two actresses. This is because; there are strong speculations that Omotola’s name was intentionally omitted from the event to bring Genevieve Nnaji back. “The two ladies are putting guild heads into serious problems, because if you are honoring one of them, the other will want same or there will be issues. Most times, you cannot carry two of them along at the same time. Omotola was named Times Magazine’s Most Influential Nigerian not Genevieve and AGN did the right thing by honoring her. So, was the idea anyway close to telling the AGN head not to honor such positive development? They should help others to help themselves,” a source who begged anonymity stated.

Nigerian man killed by a lorry after storming out of car during row with his wife

A Nigerian man was killed on a motorway after getting out of a car on the way to the airport after a fight with his wife over their credit card.

Daily Mail reports
Nahinmu Nicholas had stormed out of the Ford Focus with his suitcases, saying he was going to hitch-hike to Heathrow, but was knocked down by a lorry in the morning darkness.
His wife had pulled over on what they both thought was the hard shoulder of the M25, not realising that it was a live lane because of roadworks. A coroner was told that lorry driver Martin Hook was unable to avoid Mr Nicholas as he suddenly caught sight of him.www.michealhills.blogspot.com
His 13-tonne bread lorry also struck the couple’s car in the accident just six minutes after they had stopped on the clockwise carriageway of the M25 at junction 6 for Godstone,  Surrey, at around 4.30am on April 10.
Florence Olokun-Ola told the inquest in Woking, Surrey, that her husband was going to Nigeria alone for 12 days and that the fight started because she wanted their bank card while he was away. ‘The argument became very aggressive and his voice changed,’ she added.

Mrs Olokun-Ola, who had earlier told how financial problems had caused tension in their relationship, said she no longer felt comfortable driving and pulled over to what she thought was the hard shoulder.
She added: ‘He took off his seat belt. As soon as the car stopped he took the keys and opened the boot and took out his luggage. He put it by the crash barrier.’
In an attempt to get her husband back in the car Mrs Olokun-Ola drove forward a bit, but he started to walk back down the carriageway  trying to thumb a lift.

Then she felt the force of the  collision as the lorry struck the rear of her car.
‘I got out the car and at first I was angry because he didn’t come  running over to see if I was okay,’ she said. She then discovered her  husband’s body and ran back to the car to dial 999.
Mr Hook said he was travelling through the roadworks at 50mph. ‘The next thing I knew was there was a dark shadow in front of me,’ he added. ‘I turned straight away to the centre of the carriageway.’
A post-mortem examination  concluded that Mr Nicholas died as a result of severe head injuries.

Accident reconstruction officer PC Dominic Gibson said that the stretch of the M25 where the accident  happened was unlit. He said there were signs warning that the hard shoulder was now a live lane.

Assistant Surrey Coroner Michael Burgess recorded a verdict that Mr Nicholas, of Dartford, Kent, died as a result of a road traffic collision.
